Our story
We didn't pick a factory off a catalog.
A camper is only as good as the hands that built it. So before we imported a single unit, we went and looked — six times.
The search
Six factories. One that builds it right.
Factory one
Solid pricing, but corners cut on the seams — the kind of thing you only catch walking the floor, not reading a spec sheet.
Factory two
Good panel work, but minimum order volumes built for large fleet buyers, not a company just getting started.
Factory three
Inconsistent quality control between units — the sample looked great, the line output didn't match it.
Factory four
Strong build, weak communication — the kind of language and logistics gap that turns into missed containers.
Factory five
Close, but the electrical work wasn't up to the standard we needed to put our name behind.
Factory six — the one we chose
Run by a retired automotive engineer. Sandwiched hard-wall panels, aluminum frame, and electrical work built like it had to survive a highway, not just a driveway. We confirmed it in person before a single unit went into a container.
Full-service, not a reseller
Sourcing, import, warranty, and parts — one company, not four handoffs.
A lot of importers stop at the sale. We built aBigBox to handle the whole chain: sourcing the build, managing import and compliance, backing it with a real written warranty, keeping parts in stock stateside, and customizing the fit for your specific truck.
That's the difference between buying a camper and buying support for as long as you own it.
Where we operate
Maryland install center
Battery, solar, and add-on installation happen here — come pick up your build in person, or have it shipped to a West Coast port and take it from there.
Real-world testing
ABigBox's Adventure
We run our own campers on our own trucks and post the results — good and bad — on our YouTube channel.
